Does anyone know how if regular prescription drugs will show up in a tox screen? Like something for insomnia?

Question:
I take Restoril and I was just wondering about this

Answers:
Everything shows up on a drug screen but relax, the testing company is only looking for illegal drugs not sleep aids, pain medications or other OTC substances.

Other Answers:
If you have a prescription, you have a legal exception for most job tox screens.
It depends on the type of test you are taking.
I don't know about your drug, but I know that certain cold and asthma medications show up as maybe methamphetamines.
Generally in tox screens they are looking for specific drugs and/or alcohol. Some prescriptions drugs can show up. For instance I take prescription pain meds. You may have heard the problems people are having with ambien on the news and it showing up on tox screens for drugs. It will depend on what they are looking for in the tox screen, as to weather or not it shows up.
