I have had a bug bite for 2 months? Any suggestions?

Question: I have had this bug bite for about 2 months. It's the size of a dime on my arm. It inflames every other day and is very itchy and red. I can't tell if it is a spider bite or mosquito or anything else.
I don't even know if it is normal for some bites to last this long. Should I see a dermatologist or family doctor. I do not seem to have any other symptons but in the past had a bad reaction to a spider bite.
