Former hospital visitors..a quick question?
Question:
Anyone? Tell me your story.
Answers:
That's what seems to have happened to me recently. I went to the Emergency Department cuz I was having numbness in my right hand and shoulder with pain, numbness in my right foot and numbness on my right side of my face. I thought I might be having a mini stroke. They checked my blood, routine tests, and found too much calcium in my blood. Well they took care of that but as they are discharging I asked them what's with the numbness they said they did not know. I ended up back at a different hospital and they immediately did a head and spine cat-scan to see if I had spine problems like a bad disk or pinched nerve. Well they found out I had a disk that was pushing into my spinal cord causing the numbness. I had emergency surgery, 6 hours long, that day so I wouldn't end up paralyzed.
no, they treated what was going on with me each time, from knee surgery to cancer.
