How do I cure the puffiness under my eyes!?!?

Question:
I recently moved to an island in Spain about 1 1/2 months ago. It is very humid here, and I am from the DRY northwest...so I am wondering what effects humitiy and moisture along with heat can have on the body. About 2 weeks ago, I moved apartments, and it is very old. I thought it was the dust causing the puffy, sore eyes so I had been taking lots of vitamins, anti-histamines and had a blood test checking for EVERYTHING. Apparently my white cell count is normal, and my body doesn't seem to be allergic, but mornings have been brutal.

I play on a team here and when we travel and I sleep in air conditioned rooms, it seems to be better. Anyone know what the story is? Also, there is something here that sort of treats the air...not like a purifyer so much as it takes some of the moisture out? Not sure if this even coincides but any answers at all or personal stories would be helpful. I don't want to live with 40 yr. old eyes, no offense :)

Answers:
you may have a mold issue if the place is old. try an air cleaner and see if it gets better. hepa filters are good. buena suerte.
i actually saw on one of the morning shows - a model said that she uses hemmorhoid cream -no kidding!.
