why can a person tolerate there own poop smell. but when it is someone elses it is so terrible??

Question: i mean c'mon i go to the bathroom at work and if someone did there deed before me i get sick until i poop.. then my stench sorts relieves me.. if i am the only one like this may i get struck by lightning

It's pshychological. People associate smell with feeling.you feel better after you use the restroom, so you associate relief with that smell.
