A smoker recently moved next door. Our neighborhood is very family and kid oriented.?

The smoke consistently blows toward my house. We smell the smoke in our house when we open windows and when the kids go out to play and even in the morning when we walk the kids to school. I am alergic to cigarette smoke and I don't want my kids exposed to second hand smoke. How would you adress this problem?

Talk to the smoker and ask him to smoke on the otherside of the house (the side not next to your house) Be polite though.

i'd simply talk to him and see if he'd be willing to alter his smoking habits so as to alleviate what you're experiencing in your own home.

Live with it. It's called tolerance. Every day our bodies absorb toxins from cars/industry/pollution/chemic. in food etc so deal with it.

approach him and very kindly ask him to not smoke outside in the front or back yard because there are kids walking around everywhere and you dont want them to consume second hand smoke.

Sorry, but if the person is smoking on their own property, you have nothing to say about it. What if they came after you about things you do in the privacy of your own home.
