how come i still have a bruise that is over 21/2 months old and how do i get rid of it?

Question: i got punched in the corner of my eyebrow and now the swelling is gone but it is still the yellowish green around my eye and a little purple still on the side of my head next to my eye

I assume that you have stagnant blood under the skin.

When you get a bruise, it is because of a burst blood vessel under the skin; this changes color because of the chemical reactions with in the blood. Goes black, then purple and then green.

You may need to see a doctor to have some treatment to try and remove it. In the mean-time, put some face colouring make-up on to hide it.
