How to I get rid of this feeling in my colon?

Question:
I took a laxative about 2 months ago to clear up my first case of constipation since I was a kid (I'm coming up on 30). Ever since then I've felt like there is something lodged in my descending colon. I went to see the doctor about it out of fear that I had colorectal cancer. They performed a colonoscopy and nothing showed up, no polyps or even hemrroids. I don't have diahrrea or excessive gas, so it isn't IBS. The doctor seems to think that it's my diet. But I eat healthy and have never had this problem before. Now I have a constant feeling of pressure/discomfort in my descending colon and never goes away. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Answers:
The colonoscopy would have found any "mass" or puncture, if there was one. This could be muscle related. I've had a reoccurring pain in my lower right side for almost 25 years. After many tests and x-rays, with no indication of a problem, I found a doctor who new what was going on. It was discovered was my Hip Flexor muscles, weren't working right! I was given exercises to do. So far, they seem to be doing the trick. Yes, seek out another doctor. One that will look at more than just your colon. This "pressure/discomfort" could be coming from an entirely different part of your body...Good luck to you.
Have you tried an enema? This might clear up the problem. Also, I recommend getting a second opinion.
