I don't think so. I'm 14 and I think shorter guys are hot. I hate it when guys tower over me because I feel less then them. You will probably still grow more anyway. You might just have to wait a year or too until you are the star basketball player. You probably have a lot of other stuff going for you too. The most popular guy in my high school is only like 5ft 1in or something. Honestly if people are that superficial they aren't worth being around. It is all about your attitude anyway. Just act cool and you will be fine. Everyone is self concious about something in high school. People made fun of me last year because I had small boobs. Ha ha lets just say things have changed this year. I bet they wish they weren't mean to me now. Things will turn around and if the don't who gives a crap your better than they are!

Guys grow till they are 20 yrs old...how tall are your parents, compare to them.

You will continue growing for a few more years. Don't worry, I'm sure you have one growth spurt left, at least. I knew a guy in high school that left for summer at 5 feet and came back very very tall.

worry not short one, kids r cruel...you will hit a growth spurt soon, and if you don't people in the real world don't care....only teens find it nessicary to tease...they will outgrow that too.

Males typically are not full grown until at least age 18 or up to 21 years of age.
Also, we all have our own growth rate chart, based on our genes.
Ask your parents about the typical height in your family. Did you ever have a short family member?
Don't worry too much about your height at your age. Most boys really begin a growth spurt at your age, when they enter high school.
If the issue continues to bother you, check with your doctor, who is better able to assess your body and if it's growing appropriately. Your doctor will also have your height and weight charted, so he or she can look back and see if you're failing to keep up.

I don't think so how tall is every body else in your family are they short do you take after your mum or your dad more.Are they only short as well. Boys will keep on growing until they are 20 years old you will probable find that the growth spurts are larger during 15 and 16 but will keep growing until they are 20 years of age. Don't worry about this at all.
