ocd???????

Question:

Last night i was looking up OCD symptoms online and one of them was unwanted sexual thoughts that could be about children too. Has anyone ever loved children and would never act on the thoughts but you get them sometimes? Not like having sex with them obviously but thoughts or images?? I am wondering because i seen it last night.
Tons of things could cause these thoughts so it doesn't make you a bad person. If you don't want to say it where people see them email me

i have ocd. i don't have those thoughts about children or harming anyone. but i do have somewhat inappropriate thoughts. and of course this doesn't make you a bad person unless you DON'T have a disorder that explains these thoughts or if you go through with them.

Most people that have these thoughts will eventually act them out. Look at the Amish killings...he was having his thoughts again and went crazy. You need to seek help if you are having them,and see what medicine they can prescribe to get the OCD under control. Good luck.
