vicodin, Is'nt this a pain killer?

Question:
what kind of drugs are in vicodin and what is the side affects of excessive use with alcohol?

Answers:
vicodin is a narcotic analgesic or pain killer. It is not a good idea to take with alcohol. It is sometimes called Lortab or Lorcet. It contains hydrocodone bitartrate (the narcotic part) and acetaminophen (Tylenol). It also has a cough relieving effect. It is habit forming if used for long periods. Hydrocodone slows the nervous system. Alcohol intensifies this effect.
It's a narcotic pain killer. NEVER take it with alcohol.
