Hi Charmed for Life
You say that this occurs sometimes. This leads me to initially think that you may have hemorrhoids. Sometimes, the hemorrhoids becomes inflamed (you may experience some itchiness, tenderness during bowel mov't) and when you have a bowel mov't the tissues are irritated and may bleed a little. If you also tend to be constipated, that too will aggravate the hemorrhoid(s).
If this is only an "occasional" occurrence, chances are this may be the case.
You would still be wise to discuss the situation with your family doc - or your ob-gyn. You decide - discuss it with whomever you are most comfortable.
Rectal bleeding (if that is truly what is occurring) - may be a sign of a more serious condition. AGAIN, I recommend that you discuss with your physician.
Good luck.

There are a lot of reasons why you could have blood in your stool..I suggest you visit your doctor!!
Could be a number of things. Hemorrhoids, IBS, blockage, ulcers, too many to name. You need to get that checked sweetie, could be very dangerous, especially if you are loosing too much blood. Call your doc or go to the ER, but seek medical attention soon. This is one you really need to discuss with your doctor as there are numerous issues this could indicate.some are serious, some are not (hemorrhoids). Don't panic about it, but don't delay a trip to the doctor, either.
