What causes involuntary spasms of muscles? How to stop?
Question:
Answers:
The spasm are a sign of missing calcium in your organism. You need to take some suplements!Fast! They will dissapear after a cure of,let's say,one month.Choose a complex of vitamins and minerals, but it is mandatory that this complex has at least 100% of the daily calcium need. And of course the D3 vitamin which helds the calcium into your body.
There you go....

I would like to know this too, I sometimes get spasms like that.. sometimes in my thigh, sometimes in my eyelid, sometimes in my abdomen.
I have heard it is due to a protein/chemical imbalance, such as from not getting enough of a certain vitamin or mineral.
These muscle spasms are generally harmless. But, if they persist and continue to bother you, see a physician. They can prescribe relaxants.
Occasionally, these are related to tonic-clonic (petite-mal) seizure activity.
