Does anybody on here take the drug Lorazepam? Experiences?

Question:
Just curious because I have taken it daily for many many years now.

Answers:
Yes it is habit forming. If you are trying to get off it , you will have similar side effects like your on heroin/or methadone.

Other Answers:
I've taken lorazepam on occasion for severe panic attacks, but because it has a high addiction rate, my doc will never give me very much at one time.

I have been taking it for over a year! I haven't been able to nail down any specific side effects. Sometimes it doesn't seem to work as good as others. I take 1 mg 4 times daily as well as Toprol XL 100 mg daily for POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)! as a pharmacy student and former lorazepam user, it is not as highly addictive as the doctor tells you, unless you feel like you need it to get through life, in which case, i'd go back to the doctor and consider a new form of treatment such as an antidepressant. it works wonders though. i used it for panic attacks, but only as a crutch until the anti-depressants kicked in.
