Tip for not being nervous to wear glasses all the time?

Question:
Never had them before just got them

Answers:
My tip is (been there, done that) Just wear them and let the chips fall where they may. Assuming you are in school (applies for adults in the workplace too)

FACT #1. Not everyone makes fun of people with glasses. Some might look at you strange - ONLY - because they aren't used to you wearing them. After a week - they quit staring and get used to them. These kinds of stares are not judgmental - but adjusting just as you are adjusting.
FACT #2. The ones who do make fun of people with glasses not only lack class, they just seek attention as if somehow they look more intelligent by belittling others, like genuine idiots. This latter group aren't worth the time worrying about their opinions.

Other Answers:
go with contacts instead

Answering the person avobe: contacts can irritate your eyes.
There's nothing wrong with glasses. it might take you a day or two to get used to them, but soon after they become a part of you. I've been wearing them for four years now and personally.whenever I'm with them, I feel like I'm truly not whole.

I actually feel like I look weird without them!
Don't worry. A great percent of people wear them, no one's going to make fun of you for having them.

A lot of people look more distinguished with them and when I was younger and single I was attracted to the opposite sex more. why? I DON'T know maybe your future partner can tell you that. You will soon adjust to your new glasses. You will be amazed at how much they improve your vision. In a few weeks you won't even notice them.

Be sure to get into the habit of leaving them in the same place each night. I leave mine on the bathroom counter. That way you won't waste time searching for them.

Also, don't do what I did with my first pair, take them off and sit them on the floor next to you. When you get up to answer the phone you WILL step on them!
