Answers:
My guess is you're taking Ambien? It's a great medication but sleepwalking a bad side effect.
Try taking a Benedryl on some night but don't take the other one every night.
There's also the usual advice you'll get on how to sleep better:
1. no caffeine
2. don't exercise too late in the day (but exercising earlieris a great way to help sleep)
3. Try warm lavender baths to relax
4. don't eat a heavy meal before bed but don't get to bed hungry either
5. Alcohol can actually disrupt your sleep patterns.
Thats all I can think of right now.
Good luck!

Hello..Any sleeping pills are addictive and have multiple side effects and the worst is that after some time they simply stop to work. You have to visit a good neurologist and you have to be treated noe with sleeping pills ,but with a real treatment, when become evident what is wring..You haven't mention what kind of drugs you take..?If that's tranquilizers, just reduce the dosage and seek help..Good luck!!

get passout drunk I would talk to which ever doctor prescribed the pills. If you are taking over the counter ones. perhaps you need to talk to your doc anyways and figure out what the issue is with your sleep habits.

Exercise always does me good in the sleep department. on the days I get a good workout, I sleep like a log.

i think u should c some kind of "sleep doctor" maybe they can stop somehow
p.s.--I hope it turns out ok. It sounds like you have a sleep disorder for sure.
You need to see a doctor. First, if you are going to be taking sleeping pills you need to be taking something that is safe and effective for long term use and fortunately there are some good choices now.
Second, since you sleep walk and talk in your sleep a sleep study in a sleep lab would be a good idea. they can probably diagnose the problem and get your doctor started toward an appropriate treatment.
~gary RN exercise and sex.
you will sleep better if your body is tired; the sex is to reduce stress.
