How do I get rid of this spot in my eye?

Question: When I woke up this morning my daughter says to me "Mommy, it looks like you have pizza sauce in your eye." Actually what I have is a spot of blood about the size of a pencil eraser in my eye. It's, thankfully, located just below the iris in a way that it's only noticeable if I look up. Does anyone know what this is or how to get rid of it?
