What do you do to relax in a stressful situation?

Question:
In a stressful situation such as driving in traffic or facing a deadline at work, what do you do (away from home) to relax and calm yourself?

Answers:
Breath deep.. Then i think about other situations i am glad i am NOT in. I usually fell a little less stress after I see how fortunate i am.

Other Answers:
to help calm your nerves and help you go into a happy place where there are no worries about anything

this may sound weird, but you should go to your room and pleasure yourself. good luck! ps vote for me. i need points just chill and relax go and get your nails done and get a pedicure. if you are sitting in traffic play your frovitate CD and relax things will go smooth soon. you won,t always feel that way.

watch an old movie that i love, go book shopping (or just shopping!) flip through my address book and get in contact (either by email, phone or sometimes writing a letter) to an old friend, or book a flight and go visit friends or relatives in a not-too-far-away place.

sometimes just being around people who make you laugh is enough to make you forget why you're stressed out. with deadlines- which stress me out most, i sit back and try to remember that the people who are demanding this deadline are not going to physically kill me if i don't make it (although they may be tempted!) and in traffic you should find a radio station that you love or a cd that relaxes you.

either way, neither is worth getting worked up over.

breatheeeeeeeee and count till u feel better i pray.lol. then later i write.
