I might need a new kidney soon.

I just want to say to all the people who said they wouldn't until they were dead..you only NEED one kidney..i know a perfectly healthy 60 year old man who donated one kidney to his mom YEARS ago..For all of you 'donor's maybe you should ask yourself WHY you are donating?
And one more note..a doctor will never remove a DEAD person's organ, therefore you will be alive when they harvest your organs. All that needs to occur is your signature (saying your a donor), and a medical examiner saying that you will not recover to be a normal person again.

I carry a kidney donor card, give blood & am on the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register. I am but I'm not giving anything up till I'm dead on the table, then they can take whatever they want!

Good question ! i donated a yamaha a hammond and a farfisa, i am thinking of donating my wifes new technics fx 6000 it gives me a bloody headache every time she plays it !!
