Yes, sleep is very healing and restorative.
Yes it does. It allows your immune system to rest. That is why people who often overwork tend to get sick.
Yes. And it also helps your metabolism.
sleeping at proper times...it definitely does. u need ur regular 8hrs. if ur older than 20....6 hrs is enuf...but the regular 8hrs won't hurt no1.
Being wholly healthy boosts your body's immune system -- being well-rested, well-nourished, well-hydrated, etc etc etc...
Of course, your body requires sleep to regenerate and that includes your immune system.
well, the question is kind of phrased backwards......yes it does, in that a sleep deficit reduces immune capability.
Yes... u know how sometimes you have to re start you computer when it gets a virus... well the same thing applies to us...we have to re charge our bodies so we can fight off infection.Hence building up our immune system.

I dont know about that, but I hear it helps you grow more during your growth period.
Nobody knows the definitive answer to that as really what we know about sleep is based on 'clues' and theories however if you look at the circadian rhythm which is based on a 24 hour cycle which links into circonbiology which is the biological temporal (time) rhythm of organisms then you would believe that the body does boost it's immune system through sleep. This was documented by Jean-Jacques d'Ortous de Mairan in the 17th/18th century and continues to play a part in biological tests now. I would say that is the strongest and best documented linked theories proving that sleep does boost your regenerative capabilities.
