is trazodone safe?

Question: i take 25 mg at night for insomnia. i've slept for 10 hours, but i'm still sleepy. i have no energy whatsoever right now. i can't even get out of bed (i'm on my laptop). i'm allergic to caffeine, so no coffee. i have to go to work, yet i can't because i'm sooooo TIRED right now.

I also took Trazadone for insomnia and it left me feeling hungover and sluggish the next day. It also left me with dry mouth. It is safe but doesn't work for everyone. I have tried Lunesta since then and it is working great!.

Yes. Perhaps a different sleep aid would work better for you. Talk to your Doctor that perscribed it. There are many different kinds of medication.some work better than others for different people. Now get up and get to work.

trazidone is an antidepresent ..its used at night to help you sleep because of depression. Are you going to therapy? Do you excersise? There are many variables..but taking caffeine or any type of upper will defeat the purpose and cause more problems..
