no

its not the fact of being the breadwinner, its the fact that there is always someone out there who will take advantage of you, and sometimes its the S.O.
I asked him about this and he doesn't have a problem with it. But you see I do alot of things he knows I stay busy at home. And he makes good money and we don't want our child in daycares. Nah.. people just need to learn to divide up the family responsibilites. If you don't work, thats fine but you are expected to maintain the house and any responsibilites that you can since you will have time at home.. Bringing in the $ can be balanced by not having to do everything around the house. If she wants to take a break, or go back to school, thats cool, but I expect to not do everything around the house. There's more pressure if your wife does nothing but sit around the house, hang out with her friends and whines to you. On the other hand, if she takes care of the othre responsibilites- cleaning, cooking, other house chores that I cant do since I'm at work, then there is a mutual understanding and respect. There must always be a sharing of duties, responsibility and power,
It definetly makes you treat your daily duties more seriously, but I wouldn't say a lot of pressure. I personally feel like it's more pressure if I wasn't the bread winner. In today's world with women being more independent and such, it's more pressure worrying that you won't be the bread winner.
