Every time i walk a short distance, i get pain in the back of my calves?

I recently had a scan of my legs and they said my arteries are okay. I never had this problem before. Is it due to lack of exercise, or what?

what is the process of sexual intercourse?

Answers:
Since you have had a scan and the arteries are okay, I suggest that it could be one of two things: either your Lipitor, Zocor or other cholesterol medication is making them hurt, or you are chronically low in potassium.

The blood flow problem may not, however, show up in your legs. In general, once the blood vessels are filled, they are okay. The problem often shows up with the circulation in the iliac arteries, which are higher up in your pelvis.
You may consider having an MRA abdominal aorta with contrast to confirm this.
My Dad had this problem.

Best of luck to you!

If it hurts didn't do it. Try stretching 1st before you walk. Like bend over and touch your right toes for 10 seconds then over to your left toes and then both at the same time for 10 seconds... that will loosen things up. Or revert to swimming.

Here is a key to a healthy life, and not only your pain problems. Stretch your entire body out every night and every morning. Stretching alot in your back and your legs should help your body from feeling tense during the day. It will also stop that nasty feeling you get when you wake up and you're sore all over. Best of luck.
