What can I expect from PRK eye surgery?
Question:
Answers:
Last person that answered must not be talking about PRK. Most PRK patients note anything from mild irritation to severe pain for anywhere from 1 to 7 days depending on your pain tolerance. the vision is better but not perfect for the first 2-3 days until the bandage contact lens comes out. Then, the vision will slowly clear up. It can take up to 4-6 weeks to get your best vision. Good Luck.
Other Answers:
Relatively little pain if any at all and u have to have drops put in your eyes every 2 hours after that for the first 24 hours and perfect sight after that. There may be a "halo" effect for the first 24 hours, but it goes away the second day
