what happens if....?
Question:
Will your whole body itch, or will you go into some sort of (anaphylaxis) shock?
Just wondering...
Answers:
They dont bite that deep. You must remember the vessel wall is made of muscle and even if you are super fit, it would be deeper than a mosquito pokes. They just get capillary blood.
Other Answers:
Their proboscis (the part they stick you with) aren't that long.
The reaction you get is their spit going into your skin. They spit on you first to numb they are going to bite.
I've never heard of a deep bite. Unless you are sensitive or the mosquito is carrying some disease, you should be fine. You might itch, but not much else.
Benedryl or similar medicine always makes the itch go away for me.
im pretty sure they bite you on a vein to get the blood out......it doesnt make your whole body itch or anything
It's not "poison". And the itch has to do with the residue of their anesthetic saliva. Most of us have a reaction to it - causing the itch. I know some people who are not bothered by them.
Even if they nail a surface vein, the tissue around the skin there is what reacts.
first of all mosquitos don't have poison, the only reason it itches is due to the saliva they let out in order for your blood not to clot. if your blood clots they would have to stop sucking so their saliva keeps your blood cells from closing the puncture spot.
Were I live 'sceters don't come in ones they attack in squadrons , no the probiscus dosen't penetrate through the epidermis
