My finger has been having constant mini-spasms for the past three days. Should I be worried?

Question:

Answers:
"Spasms" are a very vague term. Some people have involuntary twitching particularly the day after they do very heavy work. There are a number of neurologic conditions which can cause involuntary movements of the hands as well as other parts of the body. These are all relatively rare. The younger you are the more unusual they are. If the prolem is restricted to just one finger and there is no other symptom, then it is unlikely to be of much importance.

You should have this evaluated by a trained hand surgeon. The doctor can do a complete exam and tell you what is likey causing the problem

Other Answers:
I would go in and get it looked at at very least. Constant spasms is not good for your nerves muscles or circulation in that finger. Go in and make sure all of your lab work is good, as well as your finger.
