Is it bad to smoke marijuana while recieving heparin treatments?

Question:

Answers:
hey , ill answer your question...not preach to you about what i think is right and wrong...
the things i would worry about with the pot is the tachycardia (rapid heart beat) you may not even know you have it, but it can and will have a more pronounced negative effect on the over all circulation, and therefore health, and depending on the reasons for your need for heparin, could be life threatening.
another thing is the damage to your sinuses, what the worry is that with your decreased ability to clot, the swelling could cause more problems than that of a person with an unaltered circulatory function
next thing i would worry about is the liver, heparin is detoxified in the liver in the p450 enzyme system, same as marijuana...the marijuana works to speed the system and will intensify the effects of the heparin, but decrease the time its effective int he body, making you more pron-ed to the problems that arise from not using the heparin, as well as the possibility of the heparin acting in overdrive and causing bleeding problems
the next danger i see is that its easy to accidentally bruise or cut yourself in an altered state of consciousness...
i don't think the changes to your brain or brain function , at this point anyway are anything to worry about though... so at least ya got that

It's never good to smoke anything ever.
It is bad to smoke it at anytime, it actually changes the brain and can cause many long term mental health problems.
It's bad to smoke marijuna. ALWAYS.
Yes. OMG Yes. Stop it right now !
Smoking Dope may help you medicly and make things seem nice, but it does kill your brain, making you dumber every time you take a puff. It seems like you smoked the stuff before and I urge you to stop. Also it is a waste of money and a bad addiction. Even normal Smoking is better but still bad. What happens if you join the Drug ladder from smoking it, then you would want to try a stronger drug, and a stronger one after that. Please stop and save your life.
