How do i get FAST and GOOD pain relief when attacked by a kidney stone? (colic)?

Question:
Diclofenac (prescripted) doesn't work fast or good enough, and more then 300mg at once isn't recommended anyway. I can't get a hand on morphine, so that's out too.
One also can't wait 30 minutes for a doctor (+pain relief like petadine) to show up, the pain is way too intense.
Any good suggestions?
(going in a warm bath and the like: that doesn't help sh!t when having a real colic.)

BTW: so i'm NOT asking how to prevent stones (drink a lot.)

Answers:
I always go to the ER with mine and they give me demerol through the IV They have given me toridol and morphine in the IV but nothing but the demerol worked. My last one was removed by the dr.A dr can also put a stent in your kidney to make the stone easier to pass, that is what they were doing for me but when he got in there he realized the stone was to big and I would have never passed it. You need to find out what type of stones you have and read up on things to avoid eating and drinking to slow the process of the stones, there are some stones that are even formed by things you inhale like chemicals, that was a shock for me when my dr gave me the paper on things that cause stones. Good luck I feel for you because I have been there my self.

You have about covered it. If you can't get drugs into you by IV fast enough, there is nothing else you can do.
It hurts to have a kidney stone and everything inside you wants to move around. You need to relax though and let the medicine in you and you will be comfortable again.

I think you should go to the Emergency Room or call an ambulance if it is real painful.
