How does your son call his penis and your daughter her vagina.........?

Question:
just looking for a name for my son and daughter.

Answers:
When I was in college taking classes to teach, the one thing our early childhood education teacher stressed was to skip the "cutsie" names for privates. Why? Because if something comes up and a child tells their teacher, grandparent, dr. (if an emergency) what have you that "my (nu nu for instance) is sore, the dr. isn't going to figure out what a "nu nu" is for quite sometime.

If you lable things what they really are, the children will be less confused, but also let them know that the word penis or vulva is a potty word or a word ok to use to let mom, grandma, dr. of whomever is in your life, know what they are talking about. They can't just go into public and start saying "my penis did this, or that" lol.

My son has a mild Autism, so keeping things labled right was important.

When I was teaching, I had a four your old girl tell me her vagina burned when she urinated. Because of her using correct words I could easily tell her mom what the child had said so she could get her daught to a doctor. It made my job easier.

My mom, on the other hand, used the old term "tally whacker" with my son. Of course he goes to school and uses the word fluently. I keep telling her she can't use slang around him. If the word sounds funny, children will repeat it often. The school chidren made fun of him badly.
