Why are flies dying in my work office?

Question:
Seriously, I've probalby picked 20 dead, or near death flies in my bathroom at work. They r just on the ground or even on the wall..they hardly are moving, and when you wave around them, they barely flinch..I never seen anything like this before?

Answers:
thanks for answering my question about cats
but why in the world did you get your kitty declawed? Omgosh that is so awful and inhumane to do to a kitty. I dont understand why. You know that they basically cut the tips of the babys fingers off, dont you? And that it is just to benefit the owner. Gosh, I cant believe an animal lover would actually do that. I am not being hateful, it is just very sad and unfair that you did that.

Well, I am glad that you found out about what actually goes on with that awful procedure. Sounds like your kitties are doing good, I just wish the public was more informed of stuff like this.
Thanks for the tip about leaving cats indoors, I remember one time when my little girl kitty had actually caught a mouse in our house and it was laying at the foot of our bed the next morning!!
ewwwww. Yeah, I totally freaked out, but it was just where we lived in the country then, but yeah, they are good little hunters, that is for sure.

to answer your question:

sounds like maybe asbestos or some kind of pest control maybe has visited and didnt tell you guys, I would be careful if I were you.
Also, if there are cooling vents in your workplace, their could be other contaminants.
Be careful.

Other Answers:
maybe they like the smell of your bathroom.
I have never heard of that. Does the bathroom smell THAT bad?
The flies are starving and that smell makes it worse.
Flies only live for 24 hours
does someone clean at night if so they are probably spraying fly spray
Eek. Why are you picking these flies up?? They've probably been sprayed or something. Anyway, isn't it better that they're dead and not alive? By the way, who cleans the bathroom and how often??
RUN! you might be next.

Can you breath? I still say RUN!!
Probably there's a kind of "nest" so always new-born flies appear.

And, secondly - you don't feed them well enough! :-)
