Question:
I've had it ever snice I started being homschooled and it's getting worse, I hope that whenI get into high school it'll stop, but if it doesn't do you have any ideas?

Answers:
many years ago the canadian government did reading experiments with dyslexia and coloured glasses. they found that by wearing green lenses that the dyslexia did not happen. i also tried this and it worked as well as wearing green coloured contact lenses. i also trained myself to read license plates when we were out in the car to stop me reversing numbers; over repeated numbers reading and a bit of time one summer semester, it worked. good luck!

I had mild dyslexia in the 2nd grade and all I had was people helping me to learn to read better. Mine phased itself out, but you could always ask someone to read things for you, that's what Tom Cruise did.

dyslexia is nothing to be ashamed of. you aren't like mentally retarded or anything, your mind is straight. just be thankful. some people have it worse than you. yes there is help! you can get tested by the school system and they have programs in place to teach you the ways to over come dyslexia. dont wait for it to go away. it doesnt all by it self. my son did it this way and it works!. :) dont wait!!

Dyslexia does not get worse, it does not go away. You must train your brain. It takes a lot of hard work.

Have your parents take you to a learning specialist to help you make accomodations for your learning differences.

Homeschooling and dyslexia are mutually exclusive. When i was very young I was diagnosed with dyslexia, and they told my mother I would have a learning disability, and may never be able to read. My sister held her comic books up to the mirror in her room and I could read them. This is how I learned to read. I have since learned to read normal and do fare at it. I still have trouble sometimes. But most of the time I do just great.
