find something else to do with your hands to keep you busy. Put a rubber band on your wrist. Anytime you think about biting your nails, snap the rubber band. I think it's called "Negative reinforcement." Eventually you'll stop, or your wrist will wear away. Whatever comes first.

Do something else. Like if you are thinking of doing it, replace that thought with doing something else. Like reading or running.. something. LOL!
cut them off. lol This isn't especially good for your nails, but, when I got fake ones it made me stop biting mine. Acrylics are a lot harder to bite. It may be enough to get you out of the habit so you'll stop even once the nails are gone.
Hold a turd in your hand all day
There is something in the store that u can buy that u apply to ur nails and its water proof and comes off wth nail remover. the idea of it is when u bite ur nails u get a disgusting taste in ur mouth, so after awhile u will naturally jst stop bitting them. { and its save }
