Does anyone have a problem with sweaty smelly feet? What do you do about it?
Question:
Answers:
Most guys and a few grrls get this prob when they reach their teens. Has to do with hormonal changes and is normal.
First, go barefoot as much as possible or wear flip-flops.
Put shoes outside in the sun. It'll kill bacteria that cause smells. When wearing shoes put a dusting of baking powder in them beforehand. Change socks regularly, sometimes 2ce daily. Add bleach to white laundry and ammonia to colored and hang outdoors, not the dryer.
Soak feet in warm water with epsom salt and baking soda, scrub between toes and dry thoroughly. Don't reuse towels.
The trick is to keep feet dry. It's not really healthy to use chemicals like foot spray. Try a mix of cornstarch and baking soda instead if feet sweat a lot.
Good luck!

go bearfoot, sk8ing, driving, walking rugby etc, everything U do in life take shoes out of the equation, or yea carry flip-flops & when U enter an est. put them on (it's wat I do) I Hate footware
You can use an anti-perspirent stick on the bottom of your foot. Use a gentle one so you don't irritate your feet. There is surgery that can help, but surgery on the feet is complicated and takes a long time to heal so I would not go that route.
first put some baking soda inside of ur socks to kill ur oder and some baby powdahr to get rid of rough ness and a better smell and maybe not to much time outside inthe heat
Change your sock everyday. maybe twice if you have to.
Put your sneakers in zip lock bags and freeze them it will kill the bacteria.
Try to get different kind of shoes
Nike tennis shoes are the worst for this problem
Adidas are pretty good
And buy two pairs and rotate them so they have time to dry out.
Your shoes will last longer too
Wear leather shoes, the leather allows the feet to breath.
Plastic keeps the heat in and causes sweating, also shoes that has that foam stuff built into the sides. Before putting on socks or shoes, rub your feet with baby powder or a foot powder of your choice. Baking soda is good too. Remember too, allow your feet to breath by either changing into sandles or go bare foot when you can.
dr scholl's foot powder
I did work in the oil field and once your boots got a good cote of oil on them your feet would sweat like they were in a pressure cooker. It was passed on to me to use powdered zinc oxide. and that dried them up

Gold Bond has foot products out...I use it with my kid, everyday. Flip flops are good to use when not using shoes...
wear better quality white socks. white socks do not have dye which is one of the main causes of smelly feet. also do not wear the same shoe every-single day allow the shoes to dry out for at least one day. if u do all this your feet well stop smelling so much. if this does not work get a foot powder.
My dad has stinky feet, but i love the smell. I would suggest that you use some type of foot powder from your local walmart/shopko, i guess it all depends, different things work on different people!!
