I read somewhere that antioxidants may also be harmful to our health sometimes. How is that?

Question:

Answers:
Too much of anything is bad for you--and that includes antioxidants. The human body needs a balance of nutrients and too many fruits (where we get most of our antioxidants) can overload the body with sugars, make the stomach raw and even irritate the mouth linings.

Drink lots of water, too. That helps to mitigate the effects of lopsided dietary choices. Six to eight ounces every two hours throughout the day is a nice amount.
