Answers:
The usual symptoms are: sluggishness, especially in the afternoon. Change of eyesight...blurriness. Frequent urination.
Sleepiness...lack of strength. Dry mouth. Can cause what is known as diabetic peripheral neuropathy which affects the feet and hands. Hurts like hell....burning and tingling. Genuine pain!
A simple blood test called A1c for glucose can reveal if you have
a high glucose amount in your blood. No fasting required for this one. A count of anything up to 7 is acceptable. 7 is borderline and anything over 7 is diabetes. This is a better test than the glucose fasting test. I would advise you to see a doctor and have this look into. Diabetes is not a simple disease and it is sometime difficult to control if not caught early enough. Be smart. See a doctor.

In my humble opinion you should get to the doctor but to answer your question here are two examples of what could be signs you might have this condition. Urinating often and being extremely thirsty. I hope you go soon to your med. doc. so you can find out for sure. Diabetes 1 is the worst type but Diabetes 2 is the one you can control with diet and exercise. Best of luck. Hugs Mama Geri
I'm not a doctor so I can't diagnose your symptoms. Check with your doctor if you are concerned. To me it doesn't sound like diabetes. giddy and nausea sounds to me like a slow gas leak.
