Does vinyl cling-film for windows out-gas harmful chemicals when heated by sunlight, or as the film ages?


Question:
Its known that some cling-films out-gas harmful plasticizers when heated and that PVC slowly degrades with the release of hydrochroloric acid. Will harmful levels of toxic materials build-up in a tightly closed vehicle, with windows covered with vinyl cling-film, after sitting in the Arizona sun for several days?

Answers:
Only if the car gets set on fire.
