Simple.I just look at the person and I pretend they are saying that THEY are stupid and I calm down!

depends how it's said, if a friend says it, there's usually a reason why, I'm really clumsy so my friends often laugh and say "You're so silly sometimes" but if someone said it to me in seriousness I would probably just look at them raise an eyebrow and say "You would know, since you've been stupid all your life" not very cutting I know, but I think it would work...Plus I know that I'm not stupid...I'm quiet intelligent...so who give a rats **** what anyone else thinks
