I've had two kidney stones, both about the size of a BB. How many have you had? How big?

Question:

Answers:
Unfortuately I have had too many. Somewhere around 40. All small, some small enough to pass, some large enough that they had to go in to remove them. Not a pleasant experience.

About 10 years ago a doctor prescribed daily allopurinol. Since then no stones. Oh, my stones were always a crystal called calcium Oxalate. Check with you doc to see if you can avoid #3.

My uncle had three the same size as you, but no surgery was needed. He just urinated and they came out, painfully of course.
my grandpa did...he got a surgery...his fine now.
I'm 59 ... never had a kidney stone -- ..thank god
never had one......but drink a beer every day and you wont ever have kidney problems......seriously. My grandfathers urologist told him that and he never had kidney problems again. Only 1 beer......not a 12 pack or anything...lol
none thank the LORD
As far as I know, I've only had one kidney stone form in my life (4 to 5 years ago). However, I don't know what its size was, because I dissolved it before I had to "pass it". I had a classic textbook case of kidney stone pain in my kidney, but due to drinking water like a fish, I managed to dissolve it somewhere between the kidney and the toilet! *chuckle* I don't think I've ever drunk so much water in 1 or 2 days before, but it sure worked!
Don't know for sure.
I have pissed out 2 small ones but didn't actually catch & measure them. The pain gave me other priorities.
Change your diet! Kidney stones are a sign of high cholesterol and too much grease in your diet. My best friend had severe kidney stones in his early 20's from too much Taco Bell his wife had to have her gall bladder removed a year later. You are what you eat...try a salad once in a while!
No kidney stones.
did have gall stones but it was more like sand so does that count?
