What are the chances of 2nd transplant rejecting?

Question:
My dr is wanting to do a 2nd corneal transplant for Schneiders Crystalline Dystrophy I had my first about 8 yrs ago with 2 rejections in a matter of a month and a half it was a hard 6 mos and am really afraid of the same happening again, my dad had the same eye disease and ended up having 7 transplants with eyes being blind and full of scar tissue in the end and his uncle had 3 for the same disease, I am looking for statistics if available on repeat transplants, risk factors and some kind of reassurance if possible that the recovery time on another transplant wont be as bad as the last one my dr says allegedly there uis a new procedure where ya go home the same day seeing as better as ya did before the first time I went home before the same day but not seeing s***, having major headaches and being sick to my stomache for 6 mos, basically denting the couch from living on it

Anyhoo I guess the biggest fear is again loosing my independence to where I need my husband to bathe and dress

Answers:
about 60-75% everybody's body protein is basically the same DNA but because each of us have subtle diffrences the Proteins and Amino Acids combine differently. Sometimes the transplants are not always successful for that reason. It is not easy to find a 100%match because like snowflakes everybody is different. Hopefully if people would stop being so closed-minded , religiously over zealous, and ignorant about STEM CELL RESEARCH maybe we can solve a lot more problems like this one.
