i am 24 wks preg i got an ultrosound the baby has thick skin on its neck has anyone gone throu this?

I would recommend an amniocentesis.

Thick skin on the back of the neck can be a sign of a chromosomal abnormality.

Or, it can of course be, thick skin.

But an amnio can tell you for sure...

This can be an indication of that the baby has Down's Syndrome. However, it does not prove anything. An amniocentesis will be able to tell the Dr exactly what's going on.
