I get this. It's either an inner skin infection (from a spot or bite) or (in my case) a severe allergic reaction to something you've eaten. Put some crushed ice in a bag, wrap it in tissue so you don't get ice burns and put on the swelling until it goes down. Also try an antihistamine.
