Strange pimples?

Question:
My 13 year old daughter has had strange "pimples" for lack of better word, since she was about 3 years old. One on her face, one in her scalp, one on her arm and then tonight, we found one on her back. But what emergest is not like a pimple really. But it is about the same size. What comes out is something that looks and feels like a rock. I am not referring to hardened pimples that maybe have been in the body for too long. I mean HARD. And under a microscope it looks like a stone. Mostly white, and sort of odd shaped. Sometimes looking like three tiny clusters formed together and tonight, it was long and sharp. It actually has bruized the skin trying to come out. It hurts terribly when I squeeze these out. I have asked her pediatrician about this and she blows me off. Can anyone offer any ideas on what this could be? thanks!

Answers:
I would seek a second opinion with a dermatologist. She is at an age (puberty) that her skin will be changing. If this is more of a cyst (subaceous or other) there may be a lining you aren't expressing that is allowing these to reform. In any event, leave this to the professionals. If you express a core from these areas you could end up leaving scars and we all know how self conscious teenagers are anyway. Good Luck!!

Other Answers:
Maybe it is a wart.
its called a boil

Use really hot water on a cloth and then squeeze them out
they are calcium deposits. You probably should not be picking them. Just leave em alone. I have a few on my face. They look like pimples but won't pop. They are white. If you pop them, chances are it will leave a scar. Will end up worse off.
Maybe she should wash her face.
only strange pimples you have
Take the rock to the doctor and if he does not look at it take her to a regular doctor. If it is calcium deposit, they may be able to do some sonic therarpy and let the vibrations break them up. Continue to ask your doctor and to have her explain what is it/
it sounds like calcium deposits. Years ago I fell and smashed my elbow. For years afterward, bits of the bone kept working their way through my skin. It was very painful.. You need to get the right doctor and soon.
I had something similar, and was told it was a calcium deposit. That's what it looked like when i squeezed it out, but hurt like crazy to do it.
calcium deposits, they can go away on their own, removing them is painful and leaves scars, decide whats important in this case but i think dermatologist can remove them with ultrasound or something
bring her to a specialist see what they say they are if they hurt or it might be a wart
could be the same thing my son has. his doctor said not to worry and that most of the time they go away by themselves. his are not boils or calcium deposits though. they are skin tags of some sort. i can't remember the exact term the doctor used, but he used the "skin tag" explanation to clarify for me. unfortunately, i don't know of any treatment, as he recommended nothing to me.
My step son had something similar when he was 5. Like you, the pedi just blew it off and said that it was a bite of some kind. I then took him to my dermatologist. She refered to them as something called a "rock bruise". That's not what it was, but in the same family. We had them burned off and he has not had any more since. My best advise, and this is from her. Do not squeeze them at all. Not only is it very painful for the child, but it causes major scaring. Check with your local dermatologist.
calcium deposits. DONT POP THEM
