Is there a medical reason behind having bad dream?

Question:
I tehd to have bad dream/nightmare when I do not have blanket over my upper body. But living in Singapore is hot all year round with temperature ranging from 24 to 33 degree celcius. Is there any explanation from chinese or western medicine or i am simply sensitive?. According to traditional chinese medicine, I am yang deficient - I feel cold easily and sensitive to cold.

As far as I know there's no physical medical reason for this, you might be struggling with emotional or mental issues that come out in dreams. (I often have nightmares when I'm stressing about something.)
I doubt its the temperature that affects you. If u're feeling either too hot or cold, you'd hv WAKEN UP to switch on the fan or put on a sweater respectively.

Your bad dreams are probably due to a recent and/or hidden memory of a past experience, or of something that your fear of.

Drink some cold milk before u sleep. May help. Cheers.
YES.....ALOT OF BAD DREAMS HAPPEN WHEN YOU HAVE A FEVER...OR AN INFECTION WHICH PROBABLY ALTERS YOUR BODY CHEMISTRY AND THOUGHTS....BLANKETS EVEN THO EVER SO LIGHT....MAKE US FEEL SECURE ...TRY IT.....
well, i always have to have a blanket over my upper and lower body too. though it does get to be really hot here, so i use a really light thin sheet, so u feel it, but it is not making u any warmer. also think happy thoughts. i used to have bad dreams a lot when i was younger, and then i thought happily, then was all better.
no
I dun think it's due to medical reasons... personally, I only experience bad dreams when I am emotionally or mentally burdened...
Our body should be Balance as well as our Mind. Our body has limited power and can be measured but Mind's power has no limit and can not be measured. When there is a deficiency our body Demands certain things likewise our Mind too. However we are not able to receive the demands of mind which are translated into Dreams.
No I do not think there is a medical reason behind this. You might be emotionally burdened.
