There are many over the counter's but a liquid like a fleets soda that you drink is a quick fix but plan on going and going. It is the same stuff the give patients for colon tests. Or what they tell the ladies mix milk of mag with warm prune juice Smells bad and tastes worse but works great

O god. No to the teas. But There is a laxative called WHOLE BODY CLEANSE. it is sold in Walmart for about 20 dollars but it cleanse out your whole system in 2 weeks. but you crap everyday. :D How about those apples?

I drink a lot of lemonade when I'm constipated. (frozen concentrated kind works the best!) I know it sounds weird but it works for me everytime!

I'm having the same problem. Laxatives generally don't work for me. I called the doctor and asked for some prescription laxative but he told me to take Milk of Magnesia. I did and still no poop. I ate a ton of fiber enriched foods today. Total Complete Cereal, Brocoli, GrapeFruit. I finally pooped but nothing noteworthy. I'm going to have a colon cleanse on Monday. Supposedly after the cleanse your bowels return to normal.
So the gist of this answer is to eat fiber, drink Milk of Magnesia and if still constipated have your colon cleansed.
Remember to avoid dairy, greasy foods, and coffee. These are especially hard on the digestive system and do not help constipation.

before you try a laxative, get some prunes. They actually taste really good and you should be pretty loosened up by the next day if you eat about 10-15 of them.
If that doesn't work then try one of the over-the-counter laxatives.
Try virgin coconut oil, it's "natural" and safe. In just a cup, you'll be sitting on your throne singing halleluya for sure.
Yogurt will help loosen stools. I eat a cup everyday.
