Pricked fingers on cactus - please help?

Question:
I managed to prick my fingers on a cactus and when I pulled out some of the spikes that had lodged themselves in my fingers, they must have just broken off rather than coming out completely, because I can still feel them in there, like I have several splinters in my fingers. How do I get them out? Please help!

Answers:
This is a common problem in the Texas Hill Country where i live. Go to the closest drug store and ask the pharmacist where the tweezers are. There should be some that are made just for removing splinters. They have sharp points instead of flat points, which are pretty much useless in this situation. You also need a magnifying glass and a good light source. As gently as possible, remove the thorns. A little antiseptic will also help to prevent infection after you remove the stickers.
You can also try hair remover wax.

Other Answers:
See if you can get them out with a tweezers or something. If not, then you might need to go see the doctor.
