LSD Flashbacks?

Question: My friend was telling me that he has flashbacks from using acid. This facinates me. Does anyone here ever get them or know why that happens? When do you get them? He says he gets them all the time, usually when he is bored watching TV or zoning off in class.

I never took acid, i have friends that took LSD, they still have flashbacks some times. I never thought that LSD is still around. it's the 60s and 70s drug.
