its actually a chinese belief that when u lack of sleep or eat to much fried food..your body will be 'heaty'.drinkin herbal tea will cool you down..not sure whether it hve any medical value to it..but we chinese always believe in it..:)

It's a chinese belief that you have too much fire in your body. This can be caused by stress, certain food, lack of sleep etc. It can be countered by taking cooling food like herbal tea, coconut juice etc.
