i had to resign from my job and move back to lawton for the doctor which is in a different town then my job was so i resigned no i am temporarily totally disabled and i have no money for my bills, the doctors are telling me it may be a while before i can work again. i need help with my bills and rent because things are getting tight and i just don't know what to do. i thought maybe i could qualify for unemployment, ive heard of people getting it for little of nothing so i thought why can't a person that truely needs it get it?

If you quit your job then you will likely get stuck with NO PAY.
Here is WHY: If you quit your job, the workers comp adjuster will take the position that you “voluntarily removed” yourself from your employment, therefore you should not be eligible for workers comp. The Workers Comp Law Judge will ALSO rule in favor of the workers comp carrier.

IF you do choose to quit your job, and you are still disabled, you will NOT be able to collect unemployment! This is because - in order to collect unemployment - you MUST be ready, willing and able to work. IF you are disabled, you are considered NOT able to work.
