was the medicane vioxx recalled?

Question: my mother is taking a medicane called vioxx and i think that was recalled like 1 or 2 years ago because it caused heartattacks or was that another medicane?

Yes it was, due to heart attacks etc. I was in a car accident and had to take it until they took it off the market, she can send in her unused portion to the company and get her money back, they have Celebrex which she can use instead which helps tremendously. The Vioxx worked well but it is never worth your life, so please don't let her take it anymore.
