The colors they are seeing may be from the ultraviolet or infrared region of the color scale. Those are areas people usually can't see with the naked eye. It would make sense that you could see those spectrums in heaven.

not sure. my coworker is color blind so he doesn't know what the color green looks like. he says greens and blues look the same.

You can try acid or mescaline or mushrooms. I've done them all and plenty of it. I've had some good visual stuff, but no colors. Everyone is different though. I've heard of some guys seeing sounds and hearing colors while tripping. Just be careful.
